This is ongoing IoT solution to be integrated with various sensors and electro-mechanical devices at farm to capture real time environment data, aggregate it to a local server and then synched with cloud hosted ERP solution to be accessed for analysis and decision making by stakeholders. The project is for a North America based online shopping portal that sells flowers and related products online, primarily USA and Canada. The website is based on IBM Webcommerce platform and required to integrate with three other services.
Integration was done by using IBM DataPower where I was primarily involved in internal DataPower working for all the business processing. It involved designing the implementation and writing XSL transformation code for request and response processing at Web Service Proxy, Multi-Protocol Gateway and XML Firewall.
IBM WebSphere DataPower SOA Appliances family is a pre-built, pre-configured rack mountable network device (XML appliances) that can help accelerate XML and Web Services deployments while extending SOA infrastructure. IBM DataPower Device administration application is based on DataPower API & Spring Framework.
It is used to control the devices and helps in various maintenance tasks on devices like creation of clusters, adding devices to cluster, editing devices, deleting devices, deployment of domain configuration and firmware. This application can also restore devices to previous configurations.
An application developed for a Singapore government client. It is an intranet workflow based document management system to be used by the client for registration of new companies and serving old ones in terms of some specialized services. This is an IBM Content Manager solution separated in three layers of web, business and database. It has seamless integration with a galore of technologies like Lotus Notes, Kofax, .NET etc.
